M.I.A. just released “I’m a singer”. I guess the song is a response to the not so flattering NYT article. The song can be found on her label Neet Recordings together with some truff about the interview.
Here’s the original song without M.I.A. “Hater” by Various Production from their 2006 album “The world is gone” at XL Recordings. My friend Erik sent me some dubstep mixtapes sommer of 2007, and “Hater” was on one of them. This song got me really hooked on dubstep at that time. I love the vocals, so dark and strong, but frail at the same time. Enjoy!
